Arthur Kim, Vivian Hsu, and Melissa Thompson offer unique perspectives and artistry through diverse focuses in fast-paced photojournalism, fashion, and contempory wedding photography. Arthur began photography at a very early age when his grandfather gave him his first camera. He is self-educated and has been inspired by the likes of his father and other photographers he has worked with over the years. AK Photography is the result of a life long passion for photography. Arthur also holds a background in computer science and engineering. He is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and is a volunteer photographer for organizations such as the American Diabetes Association. Arthur will admit to being a perfectionist and is constantly finding new challenges with every wedding to help him continually grow as a photographer. |

Vivian completed her studies in photography at the Art Institute of Seattle. She believes photography comes from the heart and attributes her creativity to her mother and patient nature to her father. Outside of weddings and events, Vivian can also be found shooting runway fashion shows or models for portfolios and magazines. Vivian spends much of her free time in other areas of art including painting and designing dresses. |

Melissa Jane completed her studies in commercial photography at the Art Institute of Seattle. Her inspirations include photographer Annie Lebovitz and writer John Krakauer. Aside from weddings and events, Melissa also works with commercial food and product photography. Melissa enjoys her free time traveling and watching baseball games. She has also mastered the skill of making a good latte. |
